INTRO TO PINSTRIPING 01/11/2020
Intro to Pinstriping for Beginners is a class geared towards enthusiats with little or no experience. Students will be introduced to the basics of pinstriping. Discussions will include the basics of paint & brush properties and where to purchase supplies. We will then demonstrate how to mix paint to the correct consistency & how to palette the brush. We will spend the day practicing brush stroke techniques. Students will paint a traditional hot rod flame to take home with them. Each participant will also receive a Sonny Boy Swag Bag. ** PLEASE NOTE** The goal of this class is to give students an introduction to the basics of pinstriping. If you already know how to pinstripe & are looking to cultivate your skill, this class may not be for you. Please sign up for our intermediate class.
Schedule:
- 8:30 - Doors Open for set up
- 9:00 - Class starts
- Introduction to class
- Discussion of paint/brush properties & where to purchase supplies
- Demonstrate how to pour & mix paint
- Demonstrate how to palette your brush
- Basic Pinstripe techniques - how to pull lines & brush control
- How to use tape for guides
- Pinstripe traditional flame panel
- 12pm - class ends
Light Refreshments will be provided.
All materials will be provided for use.
Cancellations
There are no refunds if you cannot attend the class that you have signed up for. If you cannot attend, email sonny@sonnyboystudio.com within 24 hours of class time. You will be given credit towards a future class. If the class is greater in price, you will have to pay the difference.
If the minimum attendees is not fulfilled, we reserve the right to reschedule to another class date. Students will be notified via email 48 hours in advance of the class.
